REUNION 2001 RECAP
Oshkosh 2001 July 28, 2001
Alumni and friends of the Institute attended the
second annual Oshkosh Reunion held at the Charcoal
Pit in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Over Fifty-eight attendees
shared stories and renewed old acquaintances from
4:00 to well past 7:00. This year’s event brought
out a new wave of alumni, however, many of those
who attended last year did not attend this year.
This was Dr. Taylor’s last reunion as Director
of the Institute and it was highlighted with the
presentation of a barbecue recipe book signed by
the attendees and presented to Dr. Taylor by our
Alumni Constituency Board President Karen Koening.
Pictures were on display showing various events
and activities Dr. Taylor participated in over his
21 years as the Institute Director.
Over the course of the evening the discussions
were interrupted with a raffle of several items
which included Institute mugs and cups, and several
Alumni Association mouse pads. Everyone had a great
time and found the evening passed to soon. Fortunately,
Karen diligently got picture s of almost everyone
so the memories can be relived and those of you
who could not attend can see who did. Check out
the photos below.
Now is the time to start planning for next year.
Oshkosh will be from July 23 to July 29 with our
2002 Reunion planned for Saturday July 27th.
